As I mentioned in my previous post I bought my self a SCP 5500 cellular telephone with built in camera. I discontinued my Nextel Service for several reasons. First and foremost cost, second the direct connect service on Sprint, called Ready Link is superior than Nextel's and lastly since the two companies are merging and my contract had been up for some time I went with Sprint. If you are not aware Nextel within the next 3 years will be converting everyone on Nextel's network over to Sprint's. So everyone will be back together eventually. Just one more thing my cell phone number did not change. The first week of January 2005 I will be sending a e-mail to all family and friends just to give them all my updated information. I do this once a year in case you lose it or something has changed. Take care and God Bless.

I got myself a Sprint cellular camera phone and love it. Hope everyone is having a GREAT CHRISTMAS. Also don't forget the reason for today the BIRTH of JESUS CHRIST, our SAVIOR .

It is cold today. It is 54 degrees right now....burr. I just finished watching The Day After Tomorrow. It was excellent a 4.5 star movie. It looks like a cold week. I am working overtime tomorrow and then working regular shift Wednesday. I took off this Thursday and next Monday. This will give me a few days off. I am off this Christmas....

Took Henry to the Eye Vet today and all is great. His pressure was 18 Vet said this was great. He discontinued his only pills. Finally great news.

Well, I had a weekend off for a change. I mean truly off. No overtime no nothing. I watched several 4 stars DVD's. I watched The Chronicles of Riddick, Van Helsing and the newest Harry Potter DVD The Prisoner of Azkaban. I recommend them all if you haven't seen them. I also caught up on my TV watching. This cleared out my Tivo. I have come to really enjoy NCIS on CBS, Tuesday's at 8PM. The CSI series getting a little too odd. This is my long work week. I will be posting on Wednesday about Henry. He has a Eye Vet checkup. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Even though I had to work I did enjoy my Thanksgiving.

I was reading a thread over at DSLReports.com about new low housing homes being built in Oregon and the State was requiring the contractors to wire the homes for either DSL or Cable and that these residents received free or heavily discounted high speed internet access. Well, this started a flurry of discussion to say the least. Here is my two cents. I believe the Welfare System the way it is, is a total failure. It encourages people to be lazy, dishonest and baby factories. I have many ideas on how to fix it. Too many to list here. But, Welfare is Tax Fraud and Waste at it's height. Well, just my two cents.

I am taking a little vacation from work. I will not go back to work until next Friday. I have some odds and ends to do. Other than that relax is my key word right now.

Well, thank God Elections are over. I got so very tired of watching election commericals. The person I voted for (George Bush) won the election. I don't necessarily like George Bush. However, I could not in good conscious vote for John Kerry. I did like John Edwards but, not John Kerry. Well, lets pray for one thing. George Bush makes simpler the tax code. I will be updating the web site next week. Take care everyone.

Nothing new with me. Just working a lot. Got over 3 hours yesterday of overtime and 4 today. I will have some exciting news hopefully next week. I will be working this weekend on Overtime. I am not sure when I will update the website. But, it will probably not until the second week of November when I take a much needed vacation. Well nothing is new. I have been working a lot lately. I mean a lot. I will be on this hectic schedule for another week and a half.

I have been working alot of overtime lately. Hopefully, next month things will slow down. Henry is doing great. He still can not see. But, he is not in any pain. In dog years he will be a senior citizen on his birthday in December. I hope everybody is doing ok and I will be updating the website in a couple of weeks.

Well, we are experiencing some of the worse that Jeanne has to offer. We still have power but we do have minor roof damage and the winds are continuing to pick up. Power has gone off and on several times. We have a lot of trees down too. I got off work early and have to go in again tonight at 6:00 PM. I will try to update you as much as possible. My mom and niece went to my brother's house and they have lost power. During Hurricane Frances they kept power the whole time. This time we have so far. Well, going to try and get some more sleep if these hiccups stop.

Took Henry for his follow-up after surgery visit. His pressure in his eye is 10. Which is fantastic. The Vet said next week if his pressure is still that great his medication can start being reduced. The Vet said that we will know in about 6 weeks if he will regain any sight. If he does not at least he is not in any pain. He is learning to deal and get around blind.

Well, as I type this I am at work. I am working overtime. I need the money to help pay off Henry's surgery bill. I can not wait until this year is over. As of next January (January of 2005) I will have only 10 years left to go and I can retire with full benefits. I am looking forward to that. I will talk to everyone next week sometime. I brought Henry home today and he is doing fine. He is still at his low level of sight he was when I took him into the Eye Vets. He goes back Thursday for a follow-up. I will be working a lot this week. So, this will probably be the last blog entry for a week. I might blog from work tomorrow not sure. I am working overtime twice this week and have to work regular hours Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Henry has gone in for cyro to the eye procedure. He will have it done tomorrow and have to stay at the Eye Vets for at least two days. He has lost almost all of his sight. The Vet believes (as do I) that he is seeing shadows or has very diminished sight. This should be the last surgery for him if it works. If it doesn't he will have to have the eye removed. So, everyone please pray it works. This is costing me at least 1000.00 or more depending on any complications.

Well, I think after Charley and Frances, Hurrican Ivan is going to spare us around here. I took this week off from work to recoup from a busy last month or so. I take Henry for a Vet Eye update on Wednesday. I will let everyone know what is going on then. Take care everyone.

I don't understand Movie Critics. I went and saw Alien Verus Predator today and I give it 4 out of 5 stars. I thought it was great. It was action packed and get my attention through out the movie. By the way I am highly upset at AMC Theatres. I had a coupon for a free ticket and they would not honor it. They said they were not on the program. However, they could of still got there money. Just makes me mad.

Henry is nearly blind. He has some vision but not much. He is using his sense of smell and hearing the most. When I go back to the doctor I am sure that he will have one surgery left to stop the eye from hurting. I don't think it will have to be removed but another option will take place. I have also noticed Henry stays by me more and is depending on me more.

Well, I took Henry to the Eye Vet yesterday. He stitches came out fine and the Eye Vet says all looks well on that front. However, his right eye the pressure has increased to 40 even after the increase in medicine. Unlike his left eye though his vision is good in that eye and it is clear. The Eye Vet has increased the only other medication he can to see if that will help. We go back in 3 weeks. I will have to take the day off or cancel a doctor appointment I have the following week and take him them. If the eye pressure increases or stays high I have 2 options both costly. One would be to try and use some type of cyro procedure on the eye to see if the glaucoma can be stopped and reversed (but no guarantees) the other have the eye taken out like the left. But, the last option makes Henry permanently blind although the cyro option could too. Either way his sight has just a few more months maybe 6 months to a year. At least when he loses the other eye he will be probably be healthier and...

We are preparing to experience Hurricane Charley. I will be working all weekend and do not know my schedule because of Hurricane Charley. My sister, 2 nieces and Chris (my sister's) boyfriend are at my house along with my mom and dad. They will be here while I am working. To all my family and friends outside of this household you can call me on my cell. I will have it with me. Hopefully, we will just get a little bit of the storm. However, we are forecasted to get the full hit. So, this may be my last entry for a week or so. Henry Update: Henry is doing quite well on the eye that was removed. The surgical area looks a lot better than the pictures I uploaded last week. When I get a chance I will update more recent pictures. I am hoping we will get nothing but good news when I take him back to the eye Vet on the 25th of August at 1:00 PM. Take care all and takes to all for the prayers and concerns reference Henry.

Here are two pictures post left eye removal of Henry. He is improving each day. The pictures look pretty bad. But, I can tell he is in less pain. Now, I am working hard to save his right eye. The eye Vet has increased his medication to get his right eye pressure down from 30 back to 20 or below. Let's pray it works or he faces the removal or some other options that may not work on his right eye.

Well, it is 2 days before Henry's eye removal. I think we both are feeling a little anxious.

I have updated the website. I am not quite sure if I will be able to update it in August. I am working a lot of overtime next month. I will try though.

Today Henry had 2 Vet visits. The first to his regular Vet for his 6 month Proheart Shot (for heartworms). That visit with food and allergy medication along with the shot was $184. The second at the Eye Vet for his 6 month check up. We received good news reference the right eye it is doing fine with a pressure at 20 (not bad, no great but ok). However, the left eye which I have already spent ($2200) is in very bad shape. The two previous injections to kill the eye and keep any fluid from building up has failed. The Vet said this was a first. Usually after 2 shots no problems anymore. Henry is having the left eye removed for good next week. This will cost $800 and his left eye will be shut forever. Just when my finances were looking up with plenty of overtime from work it will be going to unexpected Vet bills and I am stuck in neutral again.

Well, I was supposed to work some overtime today. But, it got cancelled. Oh well, 2 more weeks and everything should be calming down.

Well, I just finished up working 7 days straight. I have to work tonight which is overtime. I work Wednesday and Thursday and then off for the weekend. I will update some stuff over the weekend.

Well, since I failed to win the Lottery last night, I will be back at work tomorrow. I have enjoyed my time off just bumming around. It will be awhile before I get to blog again.

Well, After working 6 days last week and 7 days next I slept all day. I have been extremely lazy today.

I was schedule to work overtime today but a couple of hours before I was supposed to go in, it was cancelled. I could of used that money too. Oh well! Life marches on. I am about 85% done with my peeling and only pain in my shoulders is left. I will be glad when this is over. I have to work all weekend. But, I will have next week off.

Well, the blisters you saw yesterday are gone. I did what they say not to do and popped them. I have to go back to work and did not want to have to worry about the blisters busting open. Take care everyone.

This is my fourth day with this sunburn. My face has improved greatly. My back does not bother me. However, I have 3 spots that are killing me. I have uploaded several pictures. The blue stuff you see is Aloe Vera. I have been putting it on since Wednesday. If it is not better by Monday, I probably will be going to see a doctor. Here are the pictures:

I suffered through my training class yesterday. I am still hurting from my sunburn and have more blisters. I even have blisters in my hair on my head. Go figure that I wore a hat. Just in a little of pain. A little less yesterday and some good news. My face has started peeling and my nose looks a lot better.

Ok I went boating yesterday with a couple of guys from work. We had a good time. However, today I am paying for it. I have a bad sunburn and a little blistering on my nose and shoulders. I hate that part. That is why I don't like staying out too long in the sun. Yes, I did wear sunblock SPF 30 but it did not good.

I have training on Wednesday but the rest of the week I am off. I am going boating tomorrow with some friends from work. See you'll on Wednesday evening for next post or maybe tomorrow night.

Well, nothing new to report. I was supposed to make up training today at work. But, I postponed it to next week. I have to work all weekend so that should be fun (not). Hope everyone is doing great. Take care all.

We had a surprise birthday party yesterday for my Grandmother at my Aunt's house in Lakeland. Everyone had a good time. However, we went to eat at a restaurant called the "Red Barn" after words. Supposedly has great steaks. Nope it did not stay away from there. The food was horrible, horrible and horrible.

Well, I now have a nephew. My brother and my sister in law had their baby on Thursday, June 10, 2004 in the afternoon. I had to work Thursday and have not seen the baby yet. His name is Daniel Landon Mitchell. All are doing great. As soon as I get pictures I will post pictures.

Well I just got home from seeing the new Harry Potter Movie. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Very good movie and can not wait to buy the DVD.

Today is my mom and dad's anniversary. They have been married 36 years. Today is also my grandmother's birthday, she is 91. Myself, my niece and my mom are going to go see the new Harry Potter movie I let y'all know how it is.

Ok what a weekend. I had to work this weekend with the exception of Friday night it was a slow weekend on the work front. However, my DSL went down Friday and getting Verizon to admit it was their problem took my 4 days 3 of them with little sleep. I finally had to call one of the field techs that has been out to my house before and ask him to help. 2 hours later on Monday he called back with someone on the line from provisioning and bing bang bam back in business. The lady at provision said one of the profile numbers were messed up and that had been happening alot lately. She asked me to try the DSL and it worked. I was overjoyed.

Uh I finally did it. I finished level 5 of Rogue Squadron II. Other than that not much going on.

Ok this weekend I got really ticked. Ticked at the Gamecube. I am trying to finish a level of Star Wars Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron II. I can't get the prisoners safe. UGHHHH!!!!

My sister had another baby girl her second. Taylor Ann Mitchell (Cameron) was born on Sunday, May 23, 2004. Everyone is doing great!! Well, I took last night off and I am off all weekend. However, the next month will be long. I have a lot to do. I hope everyone likes the update to the website. Also, I have started using Bloggers own comment system so the past comments are gone (Sorry!). I am still waiting on my money from the State of Florida, Geezzz I am glad I am not depending on it. I saw a good movie the other day the "Hulk" I liked it.

Ok whats up with people naming their babies stupid names? A friend of my brother's, which I know, is naming his baby "Sailor" it is a girl.

It rain today which fit into my mood. I am just lazing around. Back to work tomorrow. This weekend flew.

My plans today, on this great day to be off, are to go get Henry his medicine for allergies and his special dog food. Then I am going to run to Staples and get some printer paper. Then I am doing absolutely nothing. I would go to the movies if 1 I had the money and 2 there was something go to watch. Oh by the way I still have not got my supposed lost money that the State has been keeping for me. I sent them an e-mail today. I probably won't get an answer until next week some time. I need that money I am really bad off this month as far as money. Don't ask me how I ended up I am still trying to figure that one out. I saw a good movie the other day I had bought the DVD Seabiscuit and watched it I give it 4.5 stars. I am looking forward to the weekend. I am going to be lazy. I am still waiting on my money from the State of Florida. See you all later.

Ok what's up? I have a serious sinus headache today. I have taken my medication to no effect. I hate my sinuses. What do they actually do? But, cause me serious health problems. If I did not have sinus problems I think I would be 100 percent healthy.

Well, I was a little under the weather yesterday even had a low grade fever plus a huge sinus headache. I feel 90 percent better today. I was taking Friday off as a vacation day but I am going to go ahead and go to work. Why is it when you owe some one or the Government money they want it right away but the Government owes you and they take their sweet time? The STATE of FLORIDA owes me 106 dollars and some change please send me my check.

Well, today was another lazy day. I did not get my hair cut today because my Cousin I did not come over today. Hopefully, Wednesday afternoon.

Well, I did some extracurricular activity for work today and I had a good time. I would like to thank my supervisor who bought us breakfast. Other than that I have been lazing around the house. The weather started to get a little bloomy which helped me in to a daze of sleepiness. I did watch two movies today both excellent: Cheaper by the Dozen--5 stars and Ruanway Jury--4 stars. My cousin is coming over to give me a haircut, just in time for work again. Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend.

It has been a long month. Usually I take April off for vacations. But, this year I could not being I was still on probation on my new job. Well, as of April 28, 2004 I will be officially off probation and at my job for 1 year. So, I will take smaller little vacations over the next year. I am planning to save the majority of my vacation time until next year and take a big vacation off next April if not the entire month. I will be off this weekend whooohhoooo and being updating the website this weekend. Take care to all.

Well, this was one long week. I had a lot of training for my job. I will be off tomorrow and Sunday. Tomorrow my sister is having her baby shower here so we are going to have a lot of strangers and acquaintances over here. It should be good for my sister. But, since I don't like parties I will be eating and hiding out in my room. Especially since it is a baby shower. I will be helping my father cook.

Well, finally a weekend off. I have a hectic schedule coming up this month. I will be working a lot of weird hours this month.

Work was crazy this weekend. I started coming down with a cold on Friday. Well it is in full rage today. Thank God I have 4 days off this week. I am going to the Eye Doctor for myself, a yearly checkup, on Thursday. So, I probably will be sleeping the rest of the day.

Well, I found out that I have a 106 dollars coming to me from the State of Florida. I got a letter the other day from a lawyer says the State has 106 dollars from UPS for me they could not find me. I fill out this paper work. They take 25% and I get the rest. So, I threw the letter away. I checked the State of Florida Unclaimed Money Website and sure enough I do. So, I fill out the online form to get my money that way I don't pay anyone. The State gives me all the money. WooHoo!

After a nine day hiatus I am back to work at 6PM tonight. Whoho!

Well, one more day and it's back to work. Won't be a big work week though. Only Wednesday and Thursday. Next week will be the big week. My big accomplishment on my 9 days off was finishing Star Trek Elite Force 2. Very hard game but on the last mission I had to cheat otherwise I would have not finished. I was just sitting here thinking. I know that I have not been back to Church in a while. Not really because I don't want to worship Christ. But, because of my job and because I always have been Introverted. I don't like being around people. Especially, strangers. It takes a while to get to know people and once I am comfortable with people I am fine. So, this is one reason that I do not attend Church. There are a couple of more. Also, due to my job, when I am off it is down time for me and I have to admit I like to be lazy which links back to reason one getting to know people takes a lot of effort and I have been disappointed on many occasions with people. Which brings me to my third reason. People lie. I don't mean a little "white" lie like that is a good color when it really is isn't, but hypocritical lying. I deal with liars on my job all day long. But, then does this mean my love for Christ is any less genuine. I think not. I constantly listen to Christian ...

Wednesday, it is back to work. Unless, I win the Lottery! Wouldn't that be great. What would you do if you won the Lottery? I know what I would do!

Well, I had to take Henry to the Vet yesterday for an ear infection. It cost me 70 dollars. How and the world does a shot and medicine cost 70 dollars? Seems prices go up faster then by paycheck. Someone please explain that to me. I am off for another 6 days. Take care!

I have 3 more days of work and then off for 9 days. YEAH!!!!

Went to see the Passion of Christ today and it was an excellent movie. All unbelievers should be made to watch it. Should be mandatory at all schools and universities.

I went on a blind date this is probably my fifth or sixth one and all have one thing in common. They were not positive experience. I mean as far as the other company I was with the couple that set it up that was a positive experience. I enjoyed meeting my friend's wife and enjoyed there company. But as far as the date. We did not talk that much and for a change they talked about their job all the time but not to me but to my friend's wife. We probably said 2 sentences to each other. We just did not click from the get go. Oh well. But, I definitely think that was the end of blind dates. We did go see 50 first dates not a great movie but not bad earlier. I did find supposedly a great compatible match from eharmony. But I am not paying the 250 yearly fee or the 49.95 for one month. Oh well, I have decided I am content on being a solitary human. I have Henry my dog he keeps me going with his antics along with my faith. That should be enough.

Does anybody even read my blogs? I feel like I am ranting to thin air sometimes! Well, I finally got my hair cut today. I work tomorrow, Thursday and little bit on Friday. I also go on my blind date on Saturday. I don't know if my website is worth it. I mean does anybody even view it?

This is incredulous ! There is nothing on TV and I have watched everything on my TIVO. This should be criminal!!!! UGHHHHH I am going crazy!!!!

I am off tonight and tomorrow then back to the work world for 3 days of fun and money. I had to take Henry to the Eye Vet today. This was just a schedule follow up. But, last night something happened to his left eye while I was at work. I thought the glaucoma was back. His eye was shut up and the lid was swollen. I had fears of spending 1300 bucks just to have his operate on again. But, good news. The Eye Vet said both eyes the pressure was very good. He said that his left eye was inflamed but he did not think it was from anything to do with glaucoma. He said he could not rule out a pressure spike but more than likely since Henry is blind in that eye he either hit it or poke it on something. The Eye Vet gave me an anti inflammatory to use for 10 days. He said that no other medicine is needed in the eye because it is dead and the pressure is not a problem anymore. Henry goes back in 4 months, earlier if any problems. I am very glad because it saves me a lot of money.

I am off this weekend but watching my sick niece. I am not well either. I feel fine except my right foot. This is the second time this has happened to me. I went to bed Tuesday night and woke up Wednesday morning and my foot was killing me and it had swollen up. I hurt so bad I was limping Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday I told my supervisor I could not keep walking and limping. So, I came home 5 hours early. I hate to come home from work once there and especially since I was more than half of shift. I have been taking Aleve and it seems to have helped still limping. I am trying to stay off of my right foot.

Well, I am supposed to be getting my tax return this Friday. The little bit it is. I have to take Henry to the Eye Vet next Wednesday at 2:45PM. I ordered the new webpage software and it should be here by the end of the week or the beginning of next. So, I will be able to update the web page in the next couple of weeks. Also, I will have 9 nine days off in March. At least 1 will be reinstalling the operating system I have a corrupted file somewhere. So, I am going to fix that. I think it had something to do with the Outlook files I imported. Microsoft has no idea and I haven't heard from them in a couple of days.

Ok, I took the day off boy am I glad I did. I had to go in for a few hours to work today but was not getting paid. This is the day we bid for the shift we want to work next year. I don't have a lot of seniority so I got midnight shift. Which will be either 6p-6a or 7p-7a. It is going to be better than the shift I am on now 1p-1a. The 1p-1a shift is just too busy. You don't have time to breathe. Well, I am off until Friday. See everyone later.

This STINKS!!!! I just got my second W-2 that I was waiting on. I did my taxes and I went from $2900 to $782. All I am getting is $782. This will get 1 bill paid off. Why are single people killed in taxes? I tried to itemize and no can do. Doesn't add up to more than my standard deduction. All the other plans I had are out the window. At least I get my pay raise in April.

I am looking at buying a new computer toward the end of this year. Maybe, it depends on the financial outlook at that time. My new job still has not sent me my W-2. This is the last one I am waiting on. I am hoping to pay off at least 2 bills with my tax refund. The song that should be on the bottom of this post is a great song. Got some much needed rest today. It has been a busy week at work. Relaxing this weekend will be good. Henry is doing great. He just got his hair cut. I will be updating the website in the next month or so. I am working on several side projects. Take care to all!

My new work team seems to be a lot of good people. The new shift is doing good on the body. Off today and tomorrow have to run something over to the doctor's tomorrow.

Well, I finished the fresh install of Windows XP and put the new Office 2003 on my system. I hope it holds all year. Seems to be working great. No bugs. Got my webcam picture back just have to start loading it up. They only thins is I have to get used to the Outlook 2003. Totally different interface. Well, to my new work time tomorrow. Well, this is new. This is the first time I have called out of sick for an entire day at my new job. I have a sinus headache, low grade fever and an overall feeling of fatigue. I think it just the change in weather. Felt pretty good yesterday but woke up not to good. I think all the long hours I have been putting in his contributed to my decline. I am sleeping mostly. I just woke up after being a sleep for most of the day except a 2 hour stretch this afternoon.

I went to the doctor yesterday for a yearly physical. So far, I gotten green thumbs but we have to wait for the blood test and another test because there was a little problem. However, the little problem so far is not a big problem and the Doctor just thinks it might be a benign problem. I don't want to go into too much detail yet. On the downside, they gave me the wrong prescription. I was supposed to get a subscription for Clarinex and they gave me one for Clarintin. Which is stupid I can buy Clarintin over the counter why would I need a prescription for that. Have to go to work early today. I have to attend some training. So it is going to be a long day.

Hope everyone had a great New Year's. As for me, I lazed around all day. I have to go back to work a long weekend. Well, something no one has probably thought about it is time to file taxes again. I hope I get back some good money. I am hoping for anywhere from 1500-3000 back. I have big big plans for the money. If I don't get at least 1500 back I am going to be depressed.
