I started to watch the DVD Sin City. This is a horrible movie. I give it minus 4 stars. I stopped it halfway through and immediately put it up for sale on Amazon. I was shocked when I sold it the same day. I will be working Wednesday and Thursday. I will be working Saturday night into Christmas Morning. So, Merry Christmas to everyone.

I watched 2 more DVD's today. I watched Fantastic 4 and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I rate the first 3 out of 4 stars and the other 2.5 out of 4 stars. I have updated the website for Christmas. I have changed a lot of the music. Also, I am going to Disney World again tomorrow. If all goes well with the weather. I will send pictures via my Cellphone camera. It has turned a little chilly here. It is supposed to warm up by Monday. But, I will be working most of the week to enjoy the weather. Take care everyone.

Everyone is saying what do the too have in common. Nothing. I watched a couple of DVD's so far this week. I just finished watching Robots. I give Robots 3 stars out of 4. I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory earlier in the day and I only give that movie 1 out of 4 stars. The remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is not as good as the original. In fact, it is horrible. Well, today is also my last day before I go back to work. I do mean back to work too. This will be a six day work week for me. Happy Thanksgiving Eve to all! I am doing great. I lost my land I was trying to purchase in Paris, TN but it fell through. I look at this as a sign that the Lord did not want me in Paris, TN. I am still looking in Tennessee for property to retire on and will be making another trip in February 2006 to the Eastern part of Tennessee in the area of Greenville, TN. I will keep everyone posted. Henry went to the Eye Vet again today for a checkup. So far so good. The Eye Vet did advise he has a small detachment in the eye of the retina. But, as long as he is not uncomfortable and it is not bleeding so we will continue on his current treatment. That is good news. The bad is if in the future something worse happens his eye will have to be removed. On other new, I have plenty of new DVD's I am going to watch this weekend. I got some new DVD's and so far I have watched Hitch (not great but not bad) and Star Wars 3 (Awesome Movie). I will keep everyone updated on the new ones I watch. Have a great Thanksgiving. I will be off for a change.

Well, I have been extremely busy at work. Nothing different there. Everyone asks did you get your land yet. The short answer is no. It looks like due to Fifth Third Bank's stupid advice I have lost by land. There is one last ditch effort in place. If it doesn't work. I lose about $1100. Don't worry though I am going to see a lawyer and see if it possible to recoup it from Fifth Third. I am also looking at backup properties in Tennessee. Just in a different area. I don't want to to let the cat out of the bag.

Well, I am trying to buy that land in Tennessee that is shown on my webpage. I have been dealing with Fifth Third Bank for going on 2 months now. Still no deal. Well, today I was told that the loan has been approved all along. But, due to sickness at the bank or the appraisal not being done, we would have to delay closing. Well, the day before the actual closing the banks up and calls and states well this trailer that is on the land has to be moved first. Well, I said you people knew about the trailer and said it was ok that the seller have 30 days from closing to remove the trailer. Now it is not ok and the seller refuses to move the trailer first unless I give him 12000 in non refundable cash. Why can't things just work like the supposed too.

My cell phone hinge broke on Monday. Tuesday, I went into the Sprint PCS store and I thought I would be in for a great debate and verbal argument over my phone. Nope, I was pleasantly surprise. They ordered me a new phone since it was under manufacture's warranty and I added the total protection in case my replacement phone broke for any reason. So far I have had a great experience with Sprint PCS for wireless. I just got an advertisement for their new EVDO card for laptop access. I am weighing whether or not I would sign up. I am not quite sure yet. I just wish they would add a tower or two in Paris, Tennessee. Then I will be all set. But, on the same token since GTE became Verizon. I have had great service with them especially their Fios Internet Service. I have had an occasional hiccup with this or that with Verizon. But, overall, not bad with all their services I subscribe to. Work has been rough lately. They changed my shift so that I can help train new hires. I got a slight b...

Well, got home from Tennessee yesterday. I found 15 acres for $28500. I am buying it and have already began the process. I will be making a Tennessee Trip page and posting pictures of my trip. Stay tuned.

I have been in beautiful Paris, TN. This is my 3 day here and it is gorgeous. I have found the property I am buying. It is 15 acres even and is beautiful. I can not post pictures right now because my cell phone has no service up here except on roam and I did not bring the compact flash card reader. I will post the pictures and video when I get back. I am going to Tennessee to look at land. At least 10 acres up to 15 acres. I have been preapproved. Yes!!!! Just got to find the right one now. I will be posting via cell phone and will be doing a lot of pictures to the blog. I am pretty excited to see my retirement area. I am working day shift now and love it. I have my same supervisor and she is great. I sleep a whole lot better too. Hope everything is going great for everyone. I will be updating my website this weekend.

Well, I finally have a chance to make a post. It has been a while, I know. My Aunt Alva Jo is in the hospital. She is expected to live only the next few months. She has Cirrhosis of the liver and her liver is shot. My mother flew up to Connecticut this past week to be with her. I pick my mother up today from the airport. We have been praying for my Aunt and will continue to do so. At work I finally am moving from midnight shift to day shift after two and half long years. I start my new shift on Wednesday. Also, this month I am going on a mini vacation. I am heading to Tennessee looking at some retirement properties. I will post more about that later. In closing, I hope everyone is doing great.

The doctor himself called me on Monday at 5:01 PM and said that the liver ultrasound came out abnormal and the radiologist recommends me having a MRI of the liver. On top of all that I have a polyp on my gallbladder. The doctor said he is not worried about the polyp on my gallbladder but will monitor it. He is sending me back for an ultrasound on the gallbladder in 3 months to make sure there is no change in size of the polyp. Today I find out that my Aunt Alva Jo is in the hospital. We do not know why yet? I am trying to find out more information. So far that is it.

Well, first of all, I like to say that I haven't had a chance to work on the website yet. I have been busy today and haven't been feeling well. I have had sinus problems. Second, I just got Verizon Fios (Fiber) today and so far I love it. The installation went great. The installation guy was great. The order processing was a mess. Verizon really needs to get their act together as far as the ordering. On the bad news continues front. My $400 glasses have to go back. They have developed a wobble and have two little marks one on each lens. My work pair are in great condition and are very good. On the more bad news front I am going to have to purchase outright a new phone from Sprint. My brother ran over my dad's phone.

Well, besides working overtime this weekend, I was able to watch a couple of DVD's. I watched The Aviator, which I gave 2 stars out 5, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, 3.5 out of 5 starts, cellular 5 out of 5 stars and Assault on Precinct 13, 4 out of 5 stars. Other than that I have my liver exam stuff on Thursday Morning and I am looking forwarded to the Summer being over. Also, I hopefully will be switching from midnight shift to day shift at work. I am also making plans to Disney World in September on my days off.

I finally got my telephone problems worked out. On July 5, 2005 probably a whole new round of telephone problems will begin as I reordered the Fios (Fiber internet). Second, thing of good news, I got my second blood test results back. No hepatitis B or C and my Iron levels are in the acceptable range. In fact, just as I told them, I have been inoculated against Hepatitis B. I go for the liver work on Thursday Morning. Third thing of good news got my new glasses back with the proper prescription so now I can get and have no sickness when looking down. This month just may end on a great note.

I can not wait for this month to be over. I am sick and tired of all this bad news. Today, I wait all day for the Verizon worker to get to the house to install mine and my dad's new Fiber connection. We are supposed to get 2 separate connections. Well, the guy shows up at 4:30 PM and acts like he doesn't want to really install the fiber because it is going to take him at least to 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Second of all he tells me that he is going to only install 1 line. I tell him no he has a work order to install 2 separate lines. He tells me that this is impossible. They only dropped one line from the box to the house. So the house can only have 1 data line. I tell him nope that was not explained to us and we were getting to separate lines. So, I tell him to forget it. I call Verizon and they give me some lame excuse. So, I told them to cancel the order. They have me so mad right now. I am contemplating dropping them all together and just use my Sprint Cell phone all the time and get...

Well, yesterday was a day of bad news and today continued the trend. I went in for a physical back on June 2, 2005. The nurse from my doctor called me and woke me up after I had gotten home late and had only about 3 to 3.5 hours sleep when she called. She started out the telephone conversation Mr. Mitchell we need you to come in for additional blood work and the doctor is writing a script for a ultrasound of your liver. He thinks something is wrong with your liver and your liver panels are why out of wack and the doctor thinks you might have hepatitis. Well, to say the least I was wide awake then, I started to ask questions like how could I have hepatitis when I have had the inoculations for hepatitis B and that I was exposed to blood last year at work several times. But, I went for the 6 months of required blood draws and they all were negative. So, I am thinking the worst case scenario. After 4 and a half hours of no sleep and continuous telephone calls to and from the doctors offic...

Well, I went in today and had my yearly physical. The checkup minus lab work went great. The doctor said only without the lab results yet I need to lose weight. Other than that he would have to wait for the lab work. However, I am headed for blood pressure and possibly cholesterol medicine if I do not lose weight based on last years blood result. I call back in a week to find out the blood work (lab) results.

I saw Star Wars Episode III on Thursday, May 19, 2005 and it was awesome. Friends and me are thinking of going again to see it at an IMAX Theater. I also found the time to do a minor update on the website, hope you find it interesting. This month is going to be a little hectic. Hope everyone stays safe and see you all later.

Outside Mission Space at Epcot. I went on it again and it was as thrilling as the first time.

Sorry it has been so long since I have blogged. I have been very busy in a two week period at work I have gotten 25 hours of overtime and work 109 hours during this time frame. I went to Disney World's Epcot and Magic Kingdom yesterday. My mom and niece Alexus went also. It was very hot and muggy out there yesterday. They got a little heat exhaustion I believe. We had a good time but my Mom got sick on the way home. I have a lot of new DVD's that I will be watching over the next couple of weeks. I will also have a busy schedule. I am hoping it will come down in the middle to end of June. So, just a warning I may not get the website updated for June by the end of June and may just update it for July. Well, I hope all my friends and family are doing good. Would love to receive E-mail from y'all. Take care for now. I was supposed to go to Disney World with my niece and parents this weekend. I was looking forward to it. Then my father. He just bugged me to death and I remember he made my vacation not that great. So, I changed my mind. I will go later, I have a ticket that is good for a year and can go whenever I want.

Well, I am typing to you with a wounded wing. I injured my left arm at work on Sunday. Nothing too serious just a contusion to my left elbow and left shoulder. My left elbow and left arm are swollen right now. But, they are not as painful as yesterday. I was given two prescriptions by the Emergency Room doctor. But Workers Comp has not allowed one to be filled. That is another subject the Pharmacy. I tell that one later.

Well, nothing new lately. Just humming along right now. Going to try to go to Disney World next Saturday. Not sure which park yet. Take care everyone.

Well, yesterday I sold a good friend of mine my Ranger. I have had the Ranger with me for longer than I have had Henry. My Ranger was sold yesterday to very good people. I am going to be able to take the money at the end of this month and pay off a bill and a half. My goal of becoming debt free is coming closer and closer. My house buying is coming sooner and sooner like my retirement. I also have been able to rest on these last couple of days off and already looking forward to Monday and Tuesday, my next days off. By the way speaking of Henry. I had to take him to the Vet yesterday. It seems he caught Kennel Cough during his stay at the Vets while I was on Vacation. He is on an antibiotic for the next 14 days. He will fully recover, Thank God!

I went to the doctors today. My blood pressure in my left arm was 150/104 by the nurse. The doctor came in and I was seeing him about a different problem. He checked me for that and then gave me refills on my prescriptions. But, I had to bring the blood pressure up to him. He took it and got a high reading in the left arm then took the right arm and got 132/85. It has been high since I started seeing this doctor for the past couple of years. He stated he did not want to start me on anything unless my readings stay consistently high. I have a complete physical in June 2005. So we will see what happens then. I will be trying to work a lot of overtime the next few months to save for Christmas. But, I wish doctors were better. I have a good couple of specialists (i.e. my allergist and my eye doctor) those are the only 2 I really trust.

Wednesday, April 6, 2005. We left and have arrived home from Disney World. I was disappointed with MGM and the Caribbean Resort. We did not have hot water our entire stay. It was luke warm. I like more hot than cold in my showers. MGM was kind of boring other than the 2 rides we went on it wasn't worth seeing. The Magic Kingdom on Monday was extremely crowded, but I love the Philamagic show with Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. That was a great attraction and the first time I had been there. Also on the plus side we had dinner last night at a German restaurant in Epcot's World Show Case. It was a buffet and excellent. It was not quite as good as the Red Lobster on my birthday, but was good. I would eat there again. By the way we ate at the Lonestar Steakhouse on Sunday night and it was horrible.

I went to Epcot today, my first time there. I loved it. I went on the Test track and Mission Space. The hype leading up to the ride on Mission Space was leaving everyone scared including myself. However, once the initial part of the ride was over it was a great ride. I just wished it was longer. The Test Track was much scarier. I posted a lot of pictures on the MOB via my cell. I have been tired all this week. I think it is losing that hour on Sunday. Anyone one else with me?

Well, Monday was my birthday. I went to the Magic Kingdom on day 2 of my get-a-way vacation. It was very crowded. I got very embarrassed as my mom and dad took me out to dinner at Reb Lobster. First of all, my dinner was excellent. But, the surprise and embarrassment came as my mom told our waiter, without my knowledge, that it was my birthday so Jamie and the crew came over and sung me Happy Birthday as he served me a piece of cake and ice cream. I turned several shades of red. I was so embarrassed. But the cake was good and so was the ice cream. Overall not a bad day. 36 years old, I getting middle aged. 4 more years and I am 40 and 9 years 9 months I can retire. Scary!!!!

Well, as I write this I am waiting for everyone to finish loading up my new 2004 Dodge Durango, so we can head to Orlando on our vacation. We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort from today until Wednesday. The plan today is to finally get there and go to the Animal Kingdom. Until 2P then go check into the resort. Probably get some lunch then back to one of the parks. Probably MGM since they will be open until 10P. I plan on taking a lot of pictures with my digital camera and my cell phone. So check the website for more. I do miss Henry though I had to put him at the Vet's to board. I hope he will be ok. Going to call and check on him tomorrow. By the way, I will post an audio blog later, which will contain more information on my new Dodge Durango.

But, I was having a lot of trouble with it. So, I bought my own domain names and moved to hopefully a more reliable web host and a professional web host. I did my homework this time and found that this company has a solid reputation. So the new website can be found at . I am in the process of upgrading some pages in particular (i.e. the guestbook page). The guestbook page is not working properly right now and I am aware of this. I am having to learn a bit of website programming that I have not known before. So, it may be a couple of months before I have it up and running. I am also going to add a couple of other features as soon as I learn how. But, the rest of the site is up and running. So, I hope you will stop by often and enjoy. Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing great. I know I am. I have been lazying around on my days off. I will be going to Disney this weekend. The only negative is, it looks like I am going to have to board Henry. My sister and brother have let me down. So, that is going to be an extra expense I did not count on and I don't know how Henry is going to take to that. So get ready for a lot of mob pictures starting this Sunday.

Well, it is vacation time. It is also time for me to be sick again. It seems everytime I go on vacation I get sick. I have had a sore throat since Monday. It is somewhat better today but just by a little. Other than that I feel fine. I plan on catching up on some sleep today, tomorrow and Saturday.

Well, I want to wish my friend and co-worker Shawn a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He turned a whooping 31 years old today. We had a little celebration at a local restaurant. All had a good time and fellowship. 2 working days and Vacation time. Other than that a short weekend. Look for changes to my website in the next week or so.

Only 4 working days to go before I am on vacation. I cannot wait. I also am planning a couple of online surprises after I go on vacation. Hope everyone is doing great.

Well, I just got some bad news today. My favorite TV show Enterprise is being cancel in March. I hate that they are doing this. What are these morons thinking?

Well, as the title states nothing new. Just work. I had been sick but have recovered after a trip to the doctor for the right prescriptions.

I hate taxes. I know they are necessary to run Government. But, lets tax those making over 250000 more than the middle class. I know someone will say we do. Bologna, there are too many loop holes. Lets go to a flat tax so everyone pays the same no matter if they make $1 or 1 million. Also, I getting tired of cable, satellite, cell phones companies and telephone companies raising their rates with these so called fees and taxes. They aren't Government Taxes they are ways to collect more money from us.

If, you noticed that my website had the Christmas theme back you were not imagining things. Verizon On-Line had a glitch. But, I have restored the website. I am thinking about changing to a better service. But, I only pay 6.95 a month to Verizon On-Line since I am a customer. We will see.

I have been working so much lately, I have forgot what sleep is. I can not wait until March. At the end of March I will be going a real vacation. Am I going somewhere? Not sure maybe Disney World other than that not sure. But, I will be relaxing.

Well, today I had to call in sick. Once again my sinuses are acting up. Please some smart inventive Doctor find a cure for all sinus problems.

I feel Oppressed. Oppressed by Corporate America!!! LOL!!! Someone at work told be because they were black and I was waiting and working hard that I was oppressing his people and forcing his people to sell stuff to my people. LOL. I told him he was crazy. I mentioned all this to because lately I feel the pressure of money. I have been cutting expenses like crazy. I have lowered my car insurance (they did it I did not ask). A couple of credit cards I got them to reduce the interest rate. I am thinking about cutting my cable services and lower that rate (though that one will only be a few dollars). I am looking for a way to get rid of or lower my storage fee payments. I have changed cell carriers and getting great service with more features than Nextel (I went with Sprint PCS) at a lower rate. Well that is my ranting and raving now. I want to get a lot of bills paid off this year. I hope the tax man doesn't oppress me and sets me free.
