Merry Christmas to everyone and Happy Birthday Lord Jesus. Well, it is finally here. I have had a busy day. Went to a couple of family members house. Saw some people I haven't seen in a while and had great food and fellowship. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I had my sinus surgery yesterday. It went well, except that I had to stay all day in the hospital. The doctor was worried about the anesthesia and my sleep apnea. I am in very little pain. But the best part is I can breathe again. I finally got released from University Community Hospital at 9:30PM last night. Today I have been recuperating at home. I have watched three DVDs Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix---5 stars out of 5 The Bourne Ultimatum----5 stars out of 5 and The Simpsons the Movie---3 stars out of 5. Hope everyone is done with their Christmas shopping and remember the reason for the season the Birth of Christ.
Well, it is official as of 16 minutes ago. I have retired from my law enforcement career of 18 years at 6PM tonight. I thought this day would come 7 years from now. However, I could not take it anymore. So after a lot of reasons and thought I decided it was time to go. I took early retirement. I will move on to the next stage in my life as far as jobs/careers in the next few coming months or weeks. I will let you all know what develops. As of now I am just a civilian once again. Well, I am off. I am now going to go to my niece, Alexus' School Christmas concert.
I start my last two days at my job before my retirement on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 6PM. I am looking forward to it. I also have been studying for an exam I am going to be taking next week with my new career. Lets hope I pass, this will determine a lot. On the DVD front I watched Ghost Rider the other day and I give it 3.5 stars. Other news this month. I lost a good friend. Why? I have no idea. I wish her well. Well blog more in the next few days. Well, I have updated the website. Most of you probably have noticed that I have a retirement date on my calendar. Yes it is official. I will be retiring after 18 years in Law Enforcement/Government work. I will hopefully making an announcement about my next career in the next few weeks. Until then I have been enjoying my time off with a few movies listed below and have rated them according to my scale. 4 stars for excellent down to no stars. I have been working alot lately. I haven't had time to do anything. I did go to the doctor reference my hemmorhoid surgery. He checked me and stated everything is healing as expect. It was just going to take alot of time. I can't stand work anymore. But, I drone on. I have bills to pay. I am still debating whether to retire early in about two years or stick out the seven years and five months I have to go. Some days I don't think I can make it to the end of my shift. I have finished a great book while working overtime a couple of days. The name of it was Freakomonics. It was quite interesting. I am now reading Glorious Appearing the 12th book in the Left Behind Series. Well, I am tired. Take care to all my family.
The website is updated! The website is updated, FINALLY! I know it has been a few months. But, I finally did it. I have been great the last few days. My surgery I had on April 5, 2007 is finally paying off. I have been going to the bathroom with very little trouble finally. I hope I don't have to have that surgery again. Other than that I have been working alot. I think last month was my first full month of work in a very long time. This month will probably be the same, except I will be going in late one day. I have to get my passport and help my mom and dad get theirs. I hope all my family and friends are doing fine. Drop my an E-mail.
Well, my brother tells me that Spiderman 3 is a great movie. I haven't seen it yet and it looks like it might be a while before I do. I have been working alot lately. Plus I am not completely healed from surgery. It only bothers me now when I go to the restroom. Other than that nothing much else has been going on. I have been contemplating retiring early. I can retire after 25 years with full benefits. That is seven years and approximately 9 months away. I just don't know how much more I can take. I am thinking about staying another 2 years. Then starting something new. I am not sure yet. Hope everyone is doing great and I know I will get to the website as soon as I get a full day off.
The surgery may have been a success. However, after that first day when I was all drugged up on pain medications, I began to hurt and we won't even talk about going to the bathroom. After using the bathroom, I have to sit in a tub full of warm water for about 10 minutes. I don't regret having the surgery. But, I can tell this is going to be slow healing process. I am in pain but mostly after a bowel movement. I have been able to go today without any pain medication. I have been able to start sitting for a few minutes at a time. The doctor doesn't want me to go back to work until at least Thursday. Luckily, I have had great friends and co-workers who have donated time to me. I thank every one of them.
Feeling somewhat better I am feeling somewhat better. The bleeding has gone way down. I have pain when first standing up and using the bathroom. The pain using the bathroom is harsh. I hope it will get better over the next couple of days. I will call the doctor on Monday and set a followup appointment next week. I have been sleeping a lot and hopefully will lose some weight. I did watch Eragon tonight and I give it 3 out of 4 stars. I am going to sleep. My Perocet is getting to me.
Surgery a success! My surgery was a success. It went much better than I expected. I had two external hemmrhoids, a skin tag and an unknown growth removed from my rectal area. The unknown growth is being sent to the lab. However, the doctor did not seem to be too concerned. I am in almost no pain. Just a little sore. Although I have not been to the bathroom yet for a sit down. I probably will be in pain tomorrow after all the drugs in the operating room are removed from my body. But, I am so glad. I thought and so did the doctor at first it would be worse. I will be back to work next Friday.
Hello all, I hope you like the couple of pictures I have uploaded. I have more I will upload when I get back home. I am typing this from Nashville, Tennessee. I am at the hotel. I will be leaving in a little while to go to the airport to take my flight home. I hope everyone is well. Also, 2 days left before my surgery and tomorrow is my birthday....I am getting old.
Hope everyone is doing great. I am off to Tennessee for a few days starting Thursday. I will be back next Tuesday and then on next Thursday I get to go in for surgery. The only thing that bothers me is I am not sure how long if any I will be out of work. My time is almost gone. We accumulate time very slowly at this job compared to my State job. One of the minuses. Took Henry to the regular Vet today. I had to postpone his annual visit because of his surgery. The regular Vet says Henry is in top notch condition. I would also like to for people that I know to give up Google and use Yahoo!. I own stock in Yahoo! so I am partial. But, with only about a couple of exceptions. Yahoo! is better in my opinion. Try it for a month and tell me what you think.
Well, I hope everyone likes the new look of the website. I will try to keep it updated more frequently. However, starting March 12, 2007, I go back to midnights 7P-7A. I go to the doctor tomorrow. I may need some surgery. I will let everyone know after tomorrow. My Grandmother is in the hospital. She has the flu and pneumonia. I talked to her today and she sounded better. I also found out my Aunt Shirley has cirrhosis of the liver. She is on a transplant list. This is my second aunt to have that condition and neither was a drinker. Well, I did not win the lottery. I was so hoping, so that I could build my dream home ( ). I also have been thinking lately that I want to learn how to ride a horse and a camel. I also want to own both since I do own 15 acres in Paris, Tennessee. Both have pros and cons and are ridden with the same training, with a couple of differences in the camel (giving commands for the camel to lay down). I know, I know Hello everyone,I hope everyone is doing great. I am doing OK. I have been very busy the last couple of months. I hope to update the website by the end of the month. I was going to try and learn a new program to update my website but changed my mind. I have had other things going on too.Henry had to have emergency eye surgery on his other and only eye left. He is totally blind now. The eye itself is still there. But, the contents inside the eye have been removed and replaced with silicon. At least he has no more pain from his glaucoma. The eye vet said he is doing great at his one week check up.I hope to be going back to Tennessee at the end of March to check up and stay for a little while on my property in Paris, Tennessee.Take care everyone!
