Well, it has been over a month since I have retired. What have I been doing? I had my surgery and have had a rough time healing from it. Other than that not much. I did apply for some part-time jobs just to keep me busy until August when I start Pharmacy Tech School. I also started walking and have lost 4 pounds I know not a lot of weight but it is a start. I did visit Linda and Heinz Asmuss yesterday. Heinz was a trooper with me and retire 7 years ago. I have not seen him in about 3 or 4 years. Him and his wife travel the country in their travel trailer. Linda and Him are doing great. We had a great visit yesterday. I have my only job interview tomorrow back at Sears. I applied for a part-time cashiers job. They are the only one to give me an interview so far. I have not worked for Sears since I was in College before joining the Florida Highway Patrol. Hello all! I know I have not updated you all in a while. I have been recovering from that sinus surgery. I have had some bad side effects and my recovery has not been stellar. I am still in recovery mode but last night was the first time I actually got good sleep and did not feel I was suffocating. The ENT Surgeon has been great. He has fit me in at the drop of a dime. He told me yesterday I was still healing and that he wanted me to see his partner just to make sure he is not missing something. He stated I just might take a little longer to heal. I see his partner next Wednesday. He also wants me to finish the sleep study with the CPAP. He believes that will help me sleep.
Well, it has been a month to the day that I have had my sinus surgery. At first everything seemed to be going fine. Then just after the first of the year I have had a lot of trouble. I did have the feeling that something was blocked in my nose. The doctor took care of that several times by cleaning the debris out of my nose. I feel great after that. But for the last week I have had to urinate every 10 to 15 minutes when I try to go to sleep and last night I felt I was suffocating even though I could feel the going in and out of both my nostrils. I have been getting very little sleep. The doctor has prescribed a sleep medicine for me. However, I have Lunesta and I don't like the way this medicines make me feel like I am in a daze. I went to the Urologist and he said I have a prostate infection and wants to perform I bladder test on my for something called IC. However, I have been reading about this bladder test and people say it is painful and last for a long time. I am not ready fo...
