Merry Christmas and Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas and Christmas Eve to all my family, friends and everyone else. I will be working tomorrow morning and wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas tonight. Remember Jesus birthday is the reason for tomorrow! Quote of the Day: Light travels faster than sound so some people appear bright until you hear them speak. --Joe Messmore Luke 2:16-20 “So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . It figures

I just can't believe Hostess goes out of business and then give their execs pay raises. I can understand why the workers did not approve any deal. The workers sacrifice but not the upper management. Quote of the Day: A new study shows that licking the sweat off a frog can cure depression. The down side is, the minute you stop licking, the frog gets depressed again. --Jay Leno John 1:1-2, 14 “[The Word Became Flesh] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

Happy Thanksgiving!

To all my Family and friends. I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Let’s get stuffed for like the bird. Enjoy and remember this is the best time of the year. I am thankful for some many things. I thank God every day for what he has given me and I look forward to what is to come. I have significant challenges ahead of me, but know that as long as I am thankful and have Jesus and God that I can get through anything. Blessings and Thanks to all Michael Mitchell Quote of the Day: Do first what you dread the most. --Anonymous 1 Corinthians 1:4-5 “[Thanksgiving] I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge—” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

Class is almost out

Well class is almost out. I only took one this semester. Next semester is going to be a killer. I will have three next year. But, this one class was an intro to art course. It was an online course and I have to say one of the best organized ones I have taken. The content was fresh, worked all the time and was relevant to the subject matter. I have an A in it so far. So, let’s pray it stays that way.

Still working and keeping busy

Still working and keeping busy. I did have a little time to catch up on Kitchen Nightmare’s yesterday. I don’t understand these people they know they are in trouble and then Gordon Ramsey comes in tells them what is wrong and they act like nothing is that it is Gordon Ramsey that is wrong. Still hoping to take a little time this weekend to update my website. Won’t be a major update. Hope everyone is doing great. Quote of the Day: No one can be free who does not work for the freedom of others. --Anonymous Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . New Adventure tomorrow

Well, for my Introduction to Arts class I am going to the Tampa Museum. This will be my first time there. I am going when it is free. Also, I get to renew my concealed weapons permit tomorrow. That is not free unfortunately. Then my mom and me are going to dinner. On a different note. I know that the website has not been updated in a while. I am hoping to get to it before the end of the month. But, in reality it will probably be the first weekend in November. Between work and school I have been extremely busy. Sorry…

Sorry I haven’t blogged in a long time or updated my website. I started classes this month and between that and work I have been extremely busy. I am going to try to get to the website later on this month. Well, as far as anything new. I had to give up cable and went back to over the air. I like not getting a bill, but have fewer viewing choices. On the plus, I like Hulu Plus, Netflix and Amazon On Demand Video. All for under twenty dollars a month. That is it for now. Just watched a movie

Just watched the War Horse. It was a very very good movie 5 out of 5 stars. Back to the grind tomorrow. Thankfully, it is a short week. Quote of the Day: Nothing is too high for a man to reach, but he must climb with care and confidence. --Hans Christian Andersen Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . News Update!

A lot has happened since the start of the year. I haven’t talked about it much, but I am now. I will be cutting my phone and cable service in the next two weeks. I have had to endure several pay cuts in the last few months. Work has had to lay off more than 200 people because of this IMPROVING economy. I fear more cuts are coming and technically I did not get laid off. However, my position on the night shift was eliminated and they were able to transfer on top of another pay cut. Now they have increased our insurance premiums, co-insurance and the amount we paid. I used to think the 80-20 split was bad. We now have a 70-30 split and in some causes 50-50 with a increase of the deductible of course. I thought healthcare was supposed to be recession and depression proof. Well, that is it for now. I continue because I know this world is a temporary stop until we all reach are permanent home. I did find time to update my website. So, stop by and take a look. Also Happy Independence Day! Q...

Sick Sick Sick

Well, I have caught a cold from someone at work. Which is going to cost me a day of work. I woke up at 1 AM and by 3AM I could not take it anymore. I drove to CVS for something for my sore throat. I am miserable right now. Quote of the Day: Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life. --Terry Pratchett Psalm 103:17-18 “But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Read all about it! News! News! News!

Well sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. But, between school and work I have been busy. The semester has ended and I earned a B in my Technical Writing Class and a B- in my IT Concepts course. Work has been going poorly. My position was cut. However, they were able to keep me and move me from the night shift to the day shift (less money). But, I have a job for now. There are rumors going around they are going to cut 500 people out of 4000 people that work there. So, my position my not be stable yet. I will keep everyone informed. Please keep me in your prayers. On another front, sorry about not updating the website for a while. Again, the reasons above are my excuse. I will hopefully tackle the website in a couple of weeks. I now have to work on weekends (every third for the time being). I also moved the website to a new host, for cost and speed. Well that is it for now. Hope everyone is doing fine. It’s my Birthday!

Well, today I turned 43. Don’t feel older. Feel the same way I was when I was 42 or even 35. Hope everyone has a great day. It is hot and sunny here in Florida. I remember this day!

I remember this day. I was in high school and heard the announcement over the loud speaker. 2 Timothy 1:9 “He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. Powerful message and movie

You have to watch this. This is God working in a powerful way. Be careful, some disturbing images but nothing but the truth. I am back for another semester

I started the Spring Semester last week. So far, so good. Let’s hope this Spring session flies. Some positives. My first “IT” class I am doing quite well. Also, taking technical writing. So far good. Let’s hope both stay this way. Can’t wait until April. I take my vacation and classes in the end of the month. Philippians 2:14-16 “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

Watch some new DVD’s this weekend

I watched The Eagle, X-men First Class. Both were excellent movies.

Happy Birthday Mom!

It is my Mom’s birthday. Love you Momma!
