Kitten update

Well, we started out with 5 kittens. We are now down to 1 kitten and she is doing great. She went to the Vet for a check up due to a possible UTI. The Vet says little L is doing fine and that we are doing everything right. Unfortunately, the other four just didn’t make it. By the way L will be 2 weeks old on Thursday. We are still waiting for L to open her eyes. Colossians 1:9 “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . Kittens!

A stray cat had kittens in our yard then abandoned them. There were 5 total. So, we have been trying to take care of them. Unfortunately, two died one today and one yesterday. But, three are surviving and seemed to be doing good. Hopefully they will survive they are very cute and I think I will keep one. One male and two females left. The two that died were both female. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

It’s Official

It’s Official, the first full week of Fall classes has begun. I am only taking one class because taking more than one, drives me nuts working full time. Also, as soon as I decide on a new website design program, as all of my Microsoft Website design software is now obsolete, I will update my website. Bare with me.   Quote of the Day: Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me, it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly. --Julie Andrews 2 Timothy 1:13-14 “What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

Classes start soon!

At the end of this month, thanks to my company, I will be back in class. I am definitely taking one course. I might increase that to two. We will see.   Quote of the Day: Dishonesty, cowardice and duplicity are never impulsive. --George A. Knight 1 Samuel 16:7 “But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

DeHaan John 1:12-13 “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Taco has died tonight.

Image
My Dear Taco was put to sleep tonight. It was not planned. He started having seizures and they would not stop for almost an hour and a half. I could not see him suffer and the Emergency Vet stated it was for the best. He never did recover. I will miss him greatly. I lost Henry almost two years ago and now Taco. All my dogs are gone. Tough Times at work over for now

Image
Well, it has been tough at work lately. I have been working rare overtime to get the yearly inventory done and we finally finished last night. My batteries are still drained and I have to work through this week with only a little juice left. But, at least it will be back to normal routines and I get a four day break at the end of the week. On a different note, I would like to wish my Mom and Dad a Happy 45th wedding anniversary yesterday, June 8th. I would also like to wish my nephew Landon, a happy 9th birthday tomorrow. They are having a party today. Quote of the Day: The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. --Anonymous Matthew 7:13-14 “[The Narrow and Wide Gates] “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com ...

Hearth Catheterization

My procedure was done on Friday morning. I received good news, but still have many questions. No blockages were found. But, I still have my chest tightness, light headiness and short of breathiness from HCM. So, hopefully the doctor will have more for me when I go back for the follow-up. One good thing I had a dissolvable plug put in and did not have to stay long in the hospital. Quote of the Day: The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. --Anonymous Acts 20:24 “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Easter 2013

Remember tomorrow when you are taking a moment before eating Easter dinner, that two thousand and thirteen years ago Jesus was born. One thousand, nine hundred and eighty years as of Friday, that Jesus died an extricating death on a wooden splintered filled Cross, paid our account in full from the bonds of sin. What we celebrate tomorrow is remembering all those years ago He Rose and defeated death, Satan and Sin. But was there any doubt of it. Isaiah 53:3-4 “He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com . Copyright (C) . All Rights Reserved.

What’s been going on!

Well, I was hoping that this year would be better than next. So far it has been a mixed bag. I was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Then I had a nuclear stress test done. It was discovered that the bottom right of my right is not receiving enough blood or oxygen when under stress. So, I have to undergo a cardiac catheterization to see what the problem is. The doctor told me it wasn’t urgent but I need to have it done. When not stressed my heart is fine. So, I think I will have it done in July 2013 so that I meet my deductible for the new insurance year. I hope everything gets fixed so that I can start exercising a little to lose some weight. My class this semester is ok. I have a solid “B”.
